Xiaomi released its comprehensive bug report for August 2024, which shows some of the major issues users are facing with HyperOS. So here goes, with a comprehensively detailed set of issues and the company’s efforts in continuing to solve them.
Understanding the Current Bugs and Issues
The following issues have been identified and are in the process of being fixed.
Low Volume on Headphones with Xiaomi Pad 6
- Problem: Smash hit with users, some of whom say it’s quite a setback because the volume for the earphone is way too low. And also, the audio quality is that great to disturb the user while media is played.
- Device: Xiaomi Pad 6
- Status: Currently under analysis. Xiaomi technical team is working towards finding the root cause and will be providing a fix that can recover proper audio performance.
Automatically Dim Brightness on Instagram
- Problem: Some people have reported that the screen brightness reduces automatically while in the Instagram application, which can affect the display for the user interface.
- Devices: Xiaomi 14, POCO F6 Pro
- Status: The issue is currently undergoing research for various versions of HyperOS. Xiaomi developers are working on the solution to maintain the same level of brightness in each scenario, and especially in the case of popular apps like Instagram.

eSIM activation problem on POCO X6 5G
- Problem: This was because of the inability to activate the eSIM function, which some users find very important since it is easier to work with digital SIM cards compared to their physical distortions.

The POCO F6 Pro Issue of Installing Third-Party
- Problem: The bug is not permitting the users to install the third-party apps from any source other than Google Play Store.

Camera Freeze on Xiaomi 12T Pro
- Problem: The freeze of camera application impacts pictures and video capturing overall.

CSP Google Sync Problem on Xiaomi 14
- Problem: The issues associated with information synchronization with Google’s CSP affect the synchronization and backup of data.

No Answering Interface on Redmi Note 12 5G
- Problem : No interface can be found to accept an incoming call and therefore the users cannot answer.

hi I’m using a xiaomi pad 6s pro the problem is after I update the software to august security patch my screen has a yellowish tint in the right to the middle and the bottom when displaying white image I don’t what happened but it was very annoying to have a yellowish tint in some area in my display I also adjust the color and white but the yellowish tint in my pad in the right side worn balance the color temp in the left side of my device plzz fix it pllzzzzz I hope xiaomi can fix it as soon as possible
