OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite launched alongside OnePlus Nord Buds 2!

OnePlus North CE 3 Lite’s technical specifications were recently made public, and we shared them with you. Everything about the phone was not yet clear in our earlier post, but now everything about it is here.

OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite

The phone is powered by Snapdragon 695 5G, just like its predecessor, OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite. It features Adreno 619 as the GPU. OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite has a brand new compact design even though it uses the same processor as its predecessor, with a thickness of 8.3mm and a weight of 195 grams. OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite packs a 5000 mAh battery with 67W SUPERVOOC charging.

The phone comes in two colors: Pastel Lime and Chromatic Gray. Nord CE 3 Lite features a 6.72-inch PS LCD display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and 240 Hz touch sampling rate. Screen resolution is Full HD and the peak brightness is 680 nits.

OnePlus advertises this phone with its 108 MP camera, claiming that there will not be a huge detail loss when zooming even 3x. Even though the 108 MP camera can be beneficial for capturing still images in certain situations, its usefulness is limited by the Snapdragon 695‘s ability to record 1080p resolution at 30 FPS . Therefore, having a 108 MP camera won’t make much difference in video recording. Additionally, it features 2 MP macro camera and 2 MP depth sensor.

OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite is an entry level phone, but it’s quite enough for simple tasks. The phone has a microSD card slot and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It features UFS 2.2 as the storage unit and you can order either 128GB+8GB variant or 256GB+8GB.

OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite is priced at €329 in Europe and £299 in UK. While only the 8GB+128GB variant is available globally, India gets the one with more storage capacity. 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB variants are priced at ₹19,999 and ₹21,999 respectively.

OnePlus Nord Buds 2

OnePlus has also introduced a wireless earphones as well, even though OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite has a headphone jack. OnePlus Nord Buds 2 features 12.4mm drivers and supports Dolby Atmos audio. It comes in two colors: Lightning White and Thunder Grey.

What’s new compared to the original OnePlus Nord Buds is active noise cancelling at up to 25 dB of volume. ANC does have affect on the battery life, drops it from 7 hours to 5 hours. You can use the earbuds for between 27 hours and 36 hours with the charging case. 10 minutes of wired charging lets you to use the buds for 5 hours. The buds are rated IP55 for dust and water resistance. OnePlus Nord Buds 2 supports AAC codec and Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity.

OnePlus Nord Buds 2 is priced at €69 / £69 internationally and it’s already on sale. You need to wait until April 11 to order OnePlus Nord Buds 2 at ₹2,999 in India.
