  • From the “Settings” app, find and tap on “Addional Settings”.
  • Finally, among the customizations here, find “System navigation” at the top and tap on it.

Oppo offers two different system navigation options in ColorOS, one called “Gestures” and the other called “Buttons” to provide this special experience to its users. These two navigation options have special experiences and different features.

Gestures: Innovative system navigation. In this option you control the screen with swipe gestures. For example, you can swipe up from the bottom to go back to the Home Screen. You can swipe from the right or left corner of the screen to go back. If you swipe up from the bottom and hold down, you can check Recent Apps.


Buttons: Traditional system navigation. Back, Home and Recent Apps buttons are used separately. Optionally, the direction of the buttons can also be changed.
