Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset is expected to be unveiled in Q4 2023. This suggests that OnePlus 12 series could be introduced either towards the end of this year or early in 2024. A Chinese tech blogger claims that the series will be unveiled in December, aligning with our prediction.
Chinese manufacturers have been increasingly opting for Chinese made components in their smartphones, and OnePlus 12 series appears to follow this trend. Many phones have been released featuring MediaTek chipsets recently. The Chinese tech blogger also claims that OnePlus 12 series may incorporate an OLED display produced by a Chinese company.
Previously, Xiaomi 13 Ultra utilized the C7 OLED panel made by Huaxing which is a Chinese company.
