HyperOS got new multi-window animations with Android 15 Beta 2

With the rollouts of Android 15 Beta 2, Xiaomi has provided an update to its HyperOS system, packing in a host of enhancements that include multi-window animations. Among the salient features will be improvements toward increased intuitiveness and responsiveness of multi-windows use, sprinkling on visual finesse into the mix.

Key Animation Updates

  • 3D Small Window Animation: Revamping of the 3D animation for small windows. The old one flips up while opening a window; this new one flips it down. This reduces greatly the delay on open, bringing in more smoothness and responsiveness into the user experience.
Improvements on Split Screens: The split screen now sports both top and bottom split screen prompts. At the same time, a blurred gradient effect is added to the split screen animation for
  • elegance and clarity in its transition between screens.
  • Seamless full-screen transition: Dragging a small window to the very top to go to full-screen view no longer locks the frame. The improvement ensures smooth, continued transition for usability.

User Experience and Expectations

These improvements in HyperOS will prove not only the refinement of the user interface developed by Xiaomi but also a more buttery experience. By making a lot of these changes that reduce delays and other visual improvements, Xiaomi will be hoping for its devices to have a more efficient and enjoyable multitasking experience.

These changes in animations, particularly the new 3D small window flip and the blurred gradient effect in split-screen, actually heed not just functionality enhancement but aesthetic pleasure that the users would like to have. Then there’s the seamless full-screen transition that results, pegging Xiaomi to user convenience and satisfaction.

While Xiaomi is working to bring more stability and fluidity in HyperOS on Android 15 Beta 2, multifunctional window animations continue getting better. The enhanced multi-window animations point at one thing: consistency with Xiaomi in innovating for good.

As HyperOS progresses further, users will start to realize a much smoother and responsive interface that furthers productivity and enjoyment. This change can only reach global devices with HyperOS 2.0, so we can refer to this feature as a HyperOS 2.0 feature. What do you think about these changes? So far, HyperOS 2 is really shaping up to give users a much smoother experience.
