Xiaomi’s 720 million Yuan donation boosts research and talent in science and technology

This morning, the Xiaomi Charity Foundation announced a blockbuster: it will donate 720 million yuan to set up special funds for supporting basic research, applied basic research, and construction of scientific research talent teams. It reflects the fact that Xiaomi accelerates scientific innovation and pays great attention to cultivating the next generation of scientific researchers in China.

Key Aspects of the Donation

The Xiaomi Charity Foundation was established in 2019 with an initial fund of 10 million yuan, and has since been committed to supporting a variety of education and research activities.
