Emir BardakçıAs for bug feedback in HyperOS 2 Beta, Xiaomi officially updated the optimized cases on December 27. Until the community published an update post, one would get to know that massive fixing was about improving the screen display faults and availability with regard to screen viewing in specific situations.
Key Resolved Issues
- Screen Display Errors: Fixed an issue causing the screen to continuously show a “waiting to answer” prompt after a call had been ended. Fixed an issue that caused the flashlight to remain turned on and still prompted when trying to turn it off in certain situations.
- WeChat Call Pop-Up Problem: Addressed the absence of a pop-up window in certain WeChat call scenarios.
- Album-Related Bugs: Fixed an issue where it was not possible to save album clips in some scenes. Fixed bug in “magic elimination” for some album scenarios.
- Control Center Display Issues: Fixed alignment when pulling down the control center and long-pressing on the volume bar. Resolved the screen going partially black when accessing the control center in specific scenarios.
- Flashing Screen Problems: Fixed screen flicker while opening BG functions on the Xiaomi 15 Pro with OS 2.0.26.0.
- Solved: There was a similar issue on the Xiaomi 15 Pro of the same OS version that caused flashing during the startup of the game. Addressed an issue with screen flashing on the REDMI K80 Pro running OS 2.0.15.0 under certain circumstances.

With its latest announcement, Xiaomi expresses the commitment to further stabilization of HyperOS 2 and performance enhancement. All of these updates fix some usability problems reported by users and mark the road to a seamless, reliable experience across the supported devices. Currently, the users taking part in the Beta activity of HyperOS 2 are invited to continue to install the latest update, reflect on their experiences, and help with the refinement of the system.
I have not seen another mobile brand that to solve problems has to use its customers, “Xaomi fans”.

Even Samsung has Beta testers from it’s community. To be precice with XIAOMI new firmware are first tested by prople working for XIAOMI, when the Firmware is stable itself, it get’s sent to the Mi Pilot which basically are testing if the update works good with other apps. If there are no more bugs the update is released, first to one carrier in one country and then slowly the availability is extender to more mobile phones. With only security updates sometimes the Mi Pilot step is skipped.

Xiaomi is introducing new phones every 6 montha which is good but no hyperos 2 updates for old phones.
It means customers have been forced to buy new phones to enjoy hyperos 2 interface.

i have recived hyperOS 2.0 update 5.6Gb size on my POCO X6 Pro EU firmware about 6 days ago and it’s not that impressive to be honess, wallpaper and screen lock new effect and customization is simply outstanding, animation is smooth and good averall optimization, other than that every others leaked features like AI stuff and like hyperAI is only exclusive to China, i don’t know if they are going to release the rest of the feature on upcoming updates soon or maybe it’s for flagship only, for 5.6Gb update it’s kinda, meh…

Today is Tuesday 12/31/2024 @ 7:45PM. I have the Xiaomi 14 Ultra 5G, 16GB Ram & 512GB Rom, Global version. I have not received HyperOS2 yet. I was under the impression that the Xiaomi 14 Ultra was among the 1st cellphones to get HyperOS2. I GUESS NOT . . . .
