The laptops have been termed by their creators as “AI professional office books” and have been developed to harness artificial intelligence for enhanced productivity and seamless interactions.
Cutting-Edge Hardware Upgrades
The REDMI Book Pro 2025 lineup is to showcase Intel’s second-generation Core Ultra processors, whose capabilities have been upgraded. The laptops, apart from having an efficient CPU, have LPDDR5X 8400MT/s RAM, which offers better data processing and multitasking.
One of their top highlights is their 96 TOPS AI computational power, which is poised to advance multiple AI-enabled capabilities, such as smart task management and advanced voice assistance. The dissipation coefficient is also upgraded by 34.4% relative to last generation, to provide enhanced thermal behavior under heavy loads.
Advanced Software and Network Features
According to prior reports by IT Home, the REDMI Book Pro 2025 is to unveil the Xiaomi AIPC Engine to advance AI capabilities. Moreover, it is to offer Apple device to Apple device seamless transfers, meant to advance cross-platform productivity.
The new laptops also include HyperConnect and Xiaoai, smart operating systems for connectivity by Xiaomi, to fully integrate Xiaomi’s ecosystem in business contexts. The laptops also include integrated Xiaomi PC Manager and an only-for-this-device SU7 Ultra car wallpaper.
Expected Price Increase and Market Position
Ma Zhiyu, product marketing director of Xiaomi Communication Technology Co., Ltd., conceded that price escalation for the REDMI Book Pro 2025 series is inevitable. He attributed the rise in price to several reasons, including:
- Exchange rate volatility
- Increased cost thanks to the powerful Core Ultra processor
- Specification enhancements to advance AI and capabilities for better performance
Despite the hike in price, the REDMI Book Pro 2025 range is expected to offer good value for money, and is expected to be a strong player in the AI-powered laptop market.

The REDMI Book Pro 2025 lineup is to launch on February 27 in collaboration with several of Xiaomi’s top-end models.
