Xiaomi to roll out HyperOS 2.2 to 30 devices in just 15 days

Xiaomi is preparing for a substantial rollout: the HyperOS 2.2 update, powered by Android 15, is set to reach 30 devices within a two-week window. This move underscores Xiaomi’s ongoing commitment to both innovation and timely support throughout its diverse hardware ecosystem.

Eligible Devices: Wide Coverage Across Product Tiers

The update will not be limited to flagship smartphones. HyperOS 2.2 is slated for deployment across a variety of Xiaomi’s product lines—including high-end, mid-tier, and entry-level devices. Notable models in the pipeline include the Xiaomi 14, 13, and 12 series, the Redmi Note 13 lineup, K-series devices, POCO F6 Pro, X6 series, and the Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro. This broad approach ensures that a significant portion of Xiaomi’s active user base will benefit from the new software.

Flagship Devices

Xiaomi’s premium smartphones will receive the update early in the rollout cycle. These models, equipped with advanced hardware, are engineered to deliver an optimized HyperOS 2.2 experience.

  • Xiaomi 12, 12 Pro, 12T Pro, 12T
  • Xiaomi 12S Ultra, 12S Pro, 12S
  • Xiaomi 13 Lite
  • Xiaomi CIVI 3, Civi 2
  • Xiaomi MIX FOLD 2

Redmi & POCO Portfolio

Xiaomi’s commitment to delivering value extends to the Redmi and POCO brands. These devices, spanning multiple price points, are included in the update plan.

  • REDMI K50 Ultra, Redmi 12 5G, Redmi Note 12R, Note 12 NFC 4G, Note 12 Turbo, Note 12 4G, Note 13 Pro, Redmi 14C, REDMI A4
  • POCO M6 Pro, C75 5G, F5 5G, X6 5G, M6 Plus 5G

Tablets

The update will also be available for select tablets, enhancing the productivity and user experience on larger screens:

  • REDMI Pad 2, REDMI Pad SE

Key Improvements in HyperOS 2.2

HyperOS 2.2 aims to deliver a more refined user experience. Users can expect smoother animations, improved battery efficiency, and increased system stability. The update introduces architectural enhancements while retaining the familiar HyperOS interface.

Advanced users have the option to further customize their experience using the MemeOS Enhancer app, available via the Play Store. This tool unlocks additional features, provides access to system app updates, and streamlines the update process directly from the device screen.

Rollout Timeline and Global Availability

Initial testing started as early as February 2025 on next-generation models like the Xiaomi 15, Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro, and Redmi K70 Ultra. The global rollout is scheduled for April to May 2025. Xiaomi is deploying the update in phases to ensure stability across regions and to meet varying carrier requirements.

This release marks a significant step in Xiaomi’s software strategy, building on the foundation of HyperOS and continuing the brand’s evolution in mobile technology.

Hi! I have purchased redmi pad se and updated it to hyper os 2.0.2.0, after updating the wifi and Bluetooth stopped working. I asked for replacement from store and they did it. Now I am afraid of updating it again because of the problem may return. Which version of hyper os has no wifi and Bluetooth problems?

Why does Redmi Note 14 Pro have the worst selfie camera?

it looks like I’m a washed painted figure on selfie. Whenever I move my head, I see myself in 3 places with the two moving slowly before it aligns back to form a single picture.

    why is that?
