Xiaomi to bring a revolution in cross-terminal interaction in 2025

Renowned tech blogger Digital Chat Station recently reported on some very exciting news regarding Xiaomi’s road map for better cross-device integration next year. The leak states that the company is working on a new generation of cross-terminal interaction technologies that may first come with their flagships. The flagship headphones would support 5.1GHz Wi-Fi, and the flagship tablet and phone will have a hardware-level interaction design for seamless connection between devices over a greater scale.

HyperOS 2 Enhances Xiaomi HyperConnect

The introduction of HyperOS 2 has already laid the foundation for cross-device interactivity at Xiaomi. Xiaomi HyperConnect now supports full integration with Apple’s ecosystem to offer:

  • Xiaomi Internet Service: Allows to transfer files and pictures; view iWork office document directly.
  • MiShare Desktop on Mac: With mobile phone mirroring for high efficiency.
  • Picture-in-Picture on TV: Makes multitasking more powerful.
  • Cross-Device Clipboard 2.0: Improved data sharing across devices.
  • Dual-Camera Synthesis: Merges feeds from cameras for novel uses.
  • Wearable and Smart Home Integration: The users will have the ability to have integrated control across various devices.
  • TV Notes: Adds note-taking ability synchronized with Xiaomi TVs.

UWB Technology on the Horizon

Adding to these, there are rumors that Xiaomi will bring Ultra-Wideband with its upcoming devices. UWB can turn smartphones into car keys and enhance location precision for connected devices. The Xiaomi 15 Ultra or Xiaomi 15S Pro is speculated to feature this technology. With the continuous development of Xiaomi in cross-terminal interaction, it shows how much ambition the company has for creating a closely integrated, user-friendly ecosystem to compete with Apple’s connectivity prowess. While we wait for other announcements, one thing that is clear is that Xiaomi does not stop pushing the boundaries.

My Redmi 11 pro has been perfect before I upgraded to the HyperOS version. Ever since then it hangs frequently, requesting me to click on the OK option of “system UI not responding”.
I would have to switch my phone off several times before it starts working properly again.
Secondly, the battery now drain so fast, and gets so hot sometimes while charging.
Please look into all these complaints in the HyperOS 2.0
