Xiaomi tablet manager responds to Mi Fans’ feedback: Plans for the Future, Stylus Pen Fixes

Amongst September 10-12, the community team at Xiaomi has gathered high-frequency feedback from Mi fans, focusing on its tablet functionality. On September 13, the person in charge of Xiaomi Tablet responded, including future plans to disclose updates for resolving the problem related to disconnection caused by a stylus pen touch. The following is a detailed view of the feedback and responses issued by Xiaomi.

Optimization of Portal Function, Communication Sharing, and Interconnection

  1. Portal Function: Xiaomi is working with full capacity to achieve the improvement of the portal function by the request of users. After the future updates to Xiao Ai, it will be able to replace the portal function; hence, providing users with an alternative for the same. The Xiaomi currently works on adapting the function of the communication sharing for more models: While the 2024 models already support this, compatibility with older models will be rolled out throughout the year.
  2. Interconnectivity: On the basis of the first edition of Miaoxiang Desktop, Xiaomi has further optimized the fluency. In the future, the company will continue to optimize interconnection with carsscreen projection scenario, and Miaoxiang Desktop that can work smoothly in weak networks.
  3. Multitasking and Split-Screen Features Split-screen: Users are still asking for an easier way to handle the splitscreen. Xiaomi is developing the feature of a multitasking system that manages the screen relationship left-right and top-bottom. While this isn’t ready, the good news is that the split-screen is supposed to remain intuitive and efficient in use.
  4. Stylus Pen Disconnection Problem Changes included in Version 1.0.10: Xiaomi has agreed that version 1.0.7 and 1.0.9 of Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro had issues when it came to stylus disconnections. It would appear that those issues have been fixed with version 1.0.10 that is already being distributed. Of course, Xiaomi will keep investigating into the disconnections and ensuring that they are resolved through future updates.

Adaptation and Optimization of Software

Xiaomi has ascertained that it will constantly do optimization work, generation by generation, about the Pad series in terms of software adaptation. The optimizations will involve quantity, ensuring quality so that new feature updates will also be synced with the older models to maintain continuity in user experience.

Customize UI Elements Three Dots on Screen

Apart from that, the company has taken cognizance of the complaints that the three dots at the top of the screen of the tablet are disruptive for onscreen content. Although the situation has been mitigated to a certain extent, Xiaomi intends more optimization in that direction to reduce disturbance for users by aligning the dots with the status bar and gesture prompt line over subsequent updates.

WPS Functionality

The Mi fans were in need of more PC-like functions on WPS for tablets. Xiaomi then provided that some of the tablet models do support the WPS PC version, and there is optimization in the Android version to add more PC-like functions.
