Photos of Xiaomi’s upcoming SUV appeared online once again to show off more design details of the camouflaged model. The new shots show the vehicle sporting a frameless door design, with its notable red-colored door and rear number “155.”
Camouflage Design Hints at Sporty Aesthetic
The SUV’s exterior is still heavily camouflaged and conceals most of its detailed design features. Still, the profile suggests a sleek and extended leading edge. Overall, the look still appears to continue the Xiaomi trademark of having a low-lying sporty style, first introduced in the Xiaomi SU7.
A Continuation of the Sporty Xiaomi SU7 Design
Earlier in the reports, IT Home said that it got flair spy photos of this Xiaomi SUV, which, from the point of view of posture, looks like an Audi A4 Avant but has more athletic poise. According to sources, camouflage photos of the car recently appeared for the first time; according to rumours, it was promised to have a double door, although there is also the traditional flat-opening door system.
Advanced Features: Laser Radar and Sporty Elements
Images of the newly exposed patent show the SUV with a laser radar on the roof, similar to the pebble-shaped radar on the Xiaomi SU7. Other design touches include side cameras, yellow brake calipers, and five-spoke wheels giving it an even sportier look.
Anticipation for Xiaomi’s first SUV builds up.
Internally codenamed MX11, the Xiaomi SUV is supposed to reach the market in 2025. More and more spy photos are leading to greater excitement regarding Xiaomi’s entry into the automotive world. It would be interesting to see the brand bring its design philosophy and technological capabilities into the electric vehicle arena.
