This has been inspired by the multitasking gestures found on the iOS interface but has maintained the Xiaomi command layout. This represents a great milestone in improving the user interface as the brand aspires to create a HyperConnect ecosystem.
Besides the changes in the UI, the beta version should also come with improvements related to app startup time and animation smoothness as well as tighter ties to “AI-based memory management,” a feature that the company has been trying out since the early betas of HyperOS 2.0.
Availability and rollout plan
The HyperOS 3.1 Beta variant at the moment is only available to the Chinese market. Xiaomi has yet to reveal information about the international availability date. Nonetheless, given Xiaomi’s strategy pertaining to the Xiaomi 14T lineup that officially emerged internationally with HyperOS 2, the final version of the HyperOS 3.1 might become available internationally earlier than anticipated.
