Emir BardakçıXiaomi has confirmed a critical bug within the System Launcher for various phones running current HyperOS updates. According to the confirmed reports from the manufacturer, some users experience frequent force closes, screens flickering, icons missing from the home screen, as well as entering into Safe Mode unexpectedly.
System Launcher Issue Identified by Xiaomi
The problem affects all Xiaomi devices with certain versions of HyperOS and has a definite connection to irregular activities carried out by the System Launcher. It has also been detected by Xiaomi’s team of engineers that crashes may happen randomly while using the home screen.

Root Cause: Weather Widget Conflict
Xiaomi has identified the issue as being linked to the “in-počasí” weather widget, which conflictswith the System Launcher. When this widget runs on the home screen, it could lead to constant crashes, ultimately causing the phone to switch to safe mode.
This will enable Xiaomi to efficiently isolate the problem. At the time of writing, the development team is finishing work on a System Launcher update to completely solve the problem of instability without the need to update the entire system. When it comes out, it will be pushed by Xiaomi.
