This new tech could power the soon-to-come REDMI Turbo 5 line of devices.
The information was posted by popular tech blogger @DigitalChatStation, who revealed information on November 1st. From the sources of the blogger, the new battery pack of the whopping 9000mAh capability is already implemented, while the company also considers the 10,000mAh battery pack capability in their labs. Such a development promises to boost the REDMI Turbo 5 line of devices, providing monumental changes in performance and cost-effectiveness, as Xiaomi bosses would say.
The changeover was hinted at by a prominent Xiaomi official, Lu Weibing, who indicated on the 25th of October, ‘’The REDMI K series will move forward from innovation, while the Turbo series will take over in the process.’’ This move fits their dreams of the Turbo 5 series being the ‘’game-changer’’ in the market arena where ‘’great performance meets an affordable price tag.’’
In addition, Xiaomi REDMI Product Manager, Sun Cun, explained the reason for the change, stating that “Turbo will bring surprises in performance and cost-effectiveness to users.” No doubt the new line of the REDMI Turbo 5 series expected to be released soon will solidify their position in the high-performance smartphone arena at an affordable price point.
To put these specs into context, the current series of REDMI Turbo 4 features amazing specs such as the Dimensity 8400-Ultra processor, the power of a 6550mAh battery, and an accompanying 6.83-inch 1.5K LTPS display.
