The smart ecosystem from Xiaomi is growing with the imminent launch of the Redmi Buds 6 earphones. Added to this are a host of features like the Cloud Crevice Light Effect 2.0 and display of power condition from a charging box. This would be an advanced lighting system that will allow users to check how much power remains in a charging box with no need to connect to a mobile device.
This power status is represented through a series of light bars
- <25% : 1 segment blinks
- 25%-50%: The light blinks 2 bars
- 50%-75% : 3 bars come on
- 75% : All 4 bars are lit
- It also blinks once the earbuds are filled to capacity and paired inside the charging case.

They will be made available in colors such as green, white, and black. To further enhance comfort and noise isolation, they will sport an in-ear design. These will be launched together with the Redmi Note 14 series next week. Full specifications are yet to be released, but this could be comparable to the Redmi Buds 6S, which came with active noise cancellation, spatial audio, and a semi-in-ear design at an affordable price of 199 yuan (28 dollar).
