Home Sales Performance in 2025
According to the industry information shared from credible sources such as Digital Chat Station, it appears the competition has been very keen for the past year. The first three firms in the list – vivo, Xiaomi, and Apple – were all able to breach the 40 million activation barrier. The data available indicates the difference between the first and second brands is very close, a matter of 200,000 to 300,000 units.
In addition, the cumulative data of the first 51 weeks of 2025 displays an exemplary completion ratio in comparison to the annual targets in the preceding years. Xiaomi displayed a completion ratio of 103.93%, while Apple displayed 107.39%. The completion ratio displayed by these brands clearly points out to the fact that the demand in the domestic market for the premium devices continues to flourish.
Market Trends & Shipments
As estimated by the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, a cumulative shipment of 282 million domestic mobile phones was recorded during January and November 2025. Notably, there was a 0.9% increase from last year. In this shipments figure, 5G-supported smartphones amounted to 244 million units, constituting 86.6% of the cumulative shipments. Xiaomi’s deliberate application of 5G technology in models such as the Xiaomi 17 Ultra is attributed to this increase.
