The company is anodizing stock of its current flagship class, the Xiaomi 14 series, with major discounts in China in preparation for the planned launch of its next flagship phone, the Xiaomi 15. This allows Xiaomi to get rid of piled-up stock in time before the release of a new model this October 2024 while providing an avenue for consumers to purchase a high-performance device at a higher value-for-money proposition.
Major Discounts on Xiaomi 14
Last year in October, Xiaomi launched the 14 series for 4,299 yuan (600 USD) for a 12+256GB model. However, now JD Mobile has subsidized the price to 3,557 yuan (500 USD) in its flagship store. If one uses PLUS membership, then the price further goes down to 3,539 yuan. This heavy subsidy comes under the 10 billion yuan subsidy policy for attracting buyers on a tight budget.

Overall, the Xiaomi 14 has a rounded corner and compact size with the screen size of 6.36 inches in black, white, rock green, and snow mountain pink color variants. The Xiaomi 14 made of glass material has a thickness of 8.29mm and weighs 193g, while the nano-leather variant measures 188g in weight and is 8.28mm thick.
Under the hood, the Xiaomi 14 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. The most striking feature of the Xiaomi 14 is its Leica-co-engineered camera. It features a 50MP “Light Hunter 900” sensor, which offers OIS optical image stabilization for clicking clear images. The Leica Summilux lens with a wider aperture of f/1.6 makes this device pretty good at low-light photography, increasing light sensitivity by as much as 180%.
