Xiaomi Pad 7 Ultra impresses with stunning Geekbench scores

Just on the eve of its official release, the much-awaited Xiaomi Pad 7 Ultra has made an astonishing entry into the Geekbench database, posting stunning performance figures that support Lei Jun in his bold assertion that it is “the most powerful tablet in the history of Xiaomi.” Scheduled for release on May 22 at 19:00 during Xiaomi’s 15th anniversary strategic product conference, the high-end tablet will be the very first model to integrate Xiaomi’s in-house developed XRING O1 chipset.

The benchmark scores reflect stunning processing power with the single-core value recorded at 2191 points and the multi-core value recorded on Geekbench 6.4.0 at 8741 points, placing the Pad 7 Ultra at the pinnacle in the high-end tablet marketplace. The achievement marks an important milestone for Xiaomi’s HyperConnect ecosystem, reflecting the company’s increasing strength in designing its own silicon and vertical integration.

The Geekbench database provides in-depth information about the XRING O1 processor used in the Xiaomi Pad 7 Ultra. The state-of-the-art processor has an advanced architecture tailored for tablet use:

  • Advanced 2+2+4+2 cluster ten-core design
  • 2 performance cores at 3.70GHz
  • 4 high-efficiency cores, 3.04
  • 2 intermediate cores at 1.89GHz
  • 2 efficiency cores at 1.8GHz
  • Mali-G925 Immortalis GPU for enhanced graphical performance

Notably, the tablet model XRING O1 chip has a lower maximum clock rating than the smartphone model used in the Xiaomi 15S Pro, at 3.90GHz. The reasons for the reduction would presumably be for the tablet design factor in order to save on thermal considerations while still providing high-end processing.

In addition to the stunning chipset, the Geekbench listing verifies several other top-end specifications for the Xiaomi Pad 7 Ultra:

  • Bountiful 16 GB RAM setup
  • Android 15 operating system with HyperOS 2
  • Advanced thermal management system (indicated by the enduring performance)

These details point towards the company’s dedication towards providing an overall premium tablet experience with no compromises in performance and multitasking features.
