Xiaomi Pad 7 rebranded with ‘Ultra’ comes here with 120W charging

Good news for tablet enthusiasts at Xiaomi with new certification reports confirming that the eagerly awaited follow-up to the Xiaomi Pad 6 Max will be released with a “Xiaomi PAD 7 Ultra” nomenclature. Such a major name change indicates Xiaomi is looking to put its flagship tablet in line with its top-of-the-line smartphone lineup, where “Ultra” signifies the very best in terms of technology and innovation. The tablet was seen in Bluetooth SIG certification reports recently, where we saw the new naming scheme along with previous rumors regarding sensational charging capabilities set to redefine tablet users.

Certification Discloses Ultra Brand and Model Number

The latest Bluetooth SIG certification materials have emerged featuring the Xiaomi Pad 7 Ultra moniker in place of the earlier reported Pad 7 Max title. The brand’s move to rename this product is a nod to a desire to place this product in the top-of-the-line category of its product family.

The certification listing ties Pad 7 Ultra to model number 25032RP42C, previously seen in China’s 3C certification registry. This verifies that the smartphone passing through various certification authorities is in fact the same flagship tablet which has been a topic of leaks and rumors for some time.

Confirmed: Extraordinary 120W fast charging.

One of the most stunning revelations in the certification files is confirmation of support for wired fast charging at 120W. This is a monumental advancement in tablet charging technology and brings smartphone-grade charging performance to the tablet form.

  • Its fast charging feature with an input of 120W.
  • Substantially shorter charging times than in earlier generations
  • Short bursts of energy during brief pauses
  • All-day power with minimal downtime when charging
  • Competitive advantage against other tablet products

This charging technique will be especially useful for a large device featuring a 14-inch screen, as such a device normally demands a large battery capacity.

Premium Features Hoped For

As reported by trusted leakster Digital Chat Station Xiaomi’s upcoming flagship tablet will come with:

  • A breathtaking 14-inch large screen
  • 120W flash charging support
  • High-quality materials appropriate for its Ultra designation
  • Positioned as the undisputed top-of-the-line Xiaomi tablet

These details show that Xiaomi aims to compete at a top-of-the-line tablet market level at least, potentially rivaling well-established premium tablet devices of Apple and Samsung. The move away from “Max” towards “Ultra” signifies Xiaomi is making its tablet naming scheme consistent with its smartphone nomenclature, where Ultra is reserved for only the best devices the company has to offer.
