The new device is going to continue with Xiaomi’s innovations in the foldable segment, with many premium features and upgraded versions of the predecessor.
Xiaomi MIX FLIP 2 will feature wireless charging and IPX8 certification. Thus, the shortcomings in MIX FLIP will be completely eliminated.

Release Date and Codenames
The MIX Flip 2 will likely arrive around May 2025, model number 2505APX7BC and 2505APX7BG (O8), codenamed “bixi”. This would put it roughly a year after the original MIX Flip, which launched in July 2024.

The MIX Flip was Xiaomi’s first small foldable, featuring:

- Leica Summilux lens with a 6.86-inch AMOLED inner screen.
