Xiaomi Mijia Desktop Drink Maker Ice Edition launched officially

Xiaomi officially launched the Mijia Desktop Drink Maker Ice Edition on JD.com, which offers a comprehensive solution for ice-making, water filtration, and water heating. The product can make 10g big clear transparent ice cubes, heat water in 3 seconds, and is equipped with temperature adjustment. It is currently priced in China at CNY 4,099 (about USD 565) during an introductory offer, with its standard retail price to be CNY 4,499 (about USD 620).

Advanced Ice-Making and Heating System

Mijia Desktop Drink Maker Ice Edition employs a variable frequency ice-making system, which offers silent operation at just 35dB. To ensure better performance, it is equipped with dual variable-speed cooling fans for effective heat dissipation. Two ice-making modes are available:

10g ice cubes: 5 pieces in 15 minutes
6g ice cubes: 5 pieces in 10 minutes

This versatility allows the user to tailor the drinking experience, whether it is the dense crystal-clear cubes for cocktail use or the small ice for ready cooling.

Intelligent Temperature Control and Filtration System

Apart from ice making, the new Mijia Drink Maker has 2100W high-power heating with intelligent temperature control between 40°C and 95°C. This makes precise temperature for different beverages possible — from tea, coffee, or instant soup.

The system is also supplied with a 6L dual-chamber water tank capable of segregating raw and waste water for a cleaner experience. It employs Sri Lankan coconut shell activated carbon filters to screen water successfully, and an automatic water channel emptying feature prevents internal residue build-up, guaranteeing freshness and a higher lifespan.
