Xiaomi Mi Band 9 Ceramic Special Edition now available on stores

On June 12, Xiaomi officially launched the Mi Band 9 Ceramic Special Edition, starting sales in July at the original price of 349 yuan. It is presently listed on JD.com, with additional benefits provided for users upon purchase, such as three installments without interest.

In addition, the NFC Silver Edition of the Mi Band 9 is also open for buying, priced at 299 yuan. For customers purchasing through the JD app, there is also a 10-yuan limited-time coupon, which drops the actual prices to 289 yuan for the NFC version and 339 yuan for the Ceramic Special Edition.

Design and Variants

The Mi Band 9 kept the traditional Xiaomi oval dial design but with an improved **colorful metal body. It hit the market in a total of four colors: pink, silver, black, and blue. It comes in three versions:

The band also comes with a variety of strap options, including:

  • Somatosensory Integration: It supports somatosensory function and can be used together with Xiaomi’s fighting courses on the Sports Health App. It is also capable of connecting to Switch’s “Just Dance” for a game-dance feel.
  • Health Monitoring: The Mi Band 9 bears upgraded health sensors that help with better tracking. An increase in sleep monitoring accuracy by 7.9% and a 16% improvement in heart rate accuracy are two of the key features it allows. In fact, it also supports Xiaomi’s Health Research App, with Peking University Third Hospital for sleep apnea research.
  • Battery Life: The Mi Band 9 promises an exceptional battery life of 21 days, while that of the NFC version is 18 days.

Additional Features – Notifications & Games

It allows users to notify the focus information by playing some fun games, and it also facilitates setting alarms, checking the weather, paying offline, and listing to-do items on the band.

  • Enhanced Vibration Motor: Upgraded linear motor now supports 20 vibration modes and 25+ usage scenarios for better user interaction.
