On the back of today’s announcement over its deal with NIO, Xiaomi Motors has just issued a statement to confirm it will be partnering with Xpeng Motors as part of its ambitions to further develop its charging and energy replenishment ecosystem.
In this connection, over 9,000 Xpeng charging piles are brought into the Xiaomi Charging Map. The integration of the charging piles into the application now allows users to:
- View real-time dynamic data of Xpeng charging stations directly on the Xiaomi Charging Map.
- Convenient charging: code scanning via the Xiaomi Auto App and plug-and-charge services.
Earlier today, Xiaomi Motors also blended in 14,000 NIO charging piles into the latter’s charging map, similarly enabling those functions. These strategic partnerships show the determination of Xiaomi Motors to develop a wide network of its charging infrastructures and seamless replenishment solutions for its increasingly large user base. While recording success in the delivery of 100,000 SU7 series within 230 days, these are further reinforcements of its ecosystem while getting ready to go on wheels with its second model, YU7 SUV, in mid-2025.
