Xiaomi launches the REDMI Watch 6

Xiaomi launched the Redmi Watch 6 officially, a high-end but affordable smartwatch that is expected to pack performance, style, and durability. The watch, which was released in China, comes with a 2.07-inch AMOLED display and a maximum brightness of 2000 nits, offering a great visual experience even under the sun. Priced at 599 yuan (around $82), the smartwatch represents a significant leap in Xiaomi’s wearable lineup.


Premium Display and Lightweight Design

Redmi Watch 6 is equipped with four-edge curved AMOLED screen and color Always-On Display (AOD) capability, an uncommon presence in this price bracket. The body is made of aluminum alloy, imparting the appearance a sleek, durable finish, and is available in three elegant colors — Mist BlueElegant Black, and Bright Moon Silver. At just 9.9mm thin, it packs comfort and lightness of fashion for wearing every day.


Extended Battery Life and HyperConnect Ecosystem

One of the standout aspects of the Redmi Watch 6 is its 24-day battery life, achieved through Xiaomi’s advanced HyperConnect platform and HyperOS 3 optimization. The watch also introduces new interconnectivity features, allowing seamless integration with other Xiaomi smart home devices, smartphones, and tablets.

It is compatible with wear on both right and left wrists to improve user comfort.


Price and Availability

The Redmi Watch 6 has gone on sale in China at 599 yuan (around $82). Despite major hardware and feature improvements, Xiaomi kept the price tag unchanged from the previous model, representing great value for money.
