Recently, Xiaomi introduced its newest creation of home cleaning, designated as Mijia Sweeping and Mopping Robot M40, developed to implement an integrated solution into sweeping, mopping, washing, and drying. Pre-sales are going to start on September 28th for the two variants of M40: the water tank version is priced at 2,999 yuan (427 USD), while the water and drainage version is at 3,398 yuan (484 USD).

- Two Manipulator Robots for Precision Cleaning: The M40 introduces innovative dual robotic arms at millimeter cleaning precision. These include a telescopic robotic arm side brush for sweeping and a robotic arm mop for wiping dirt from walls and corners. Arms tested for strength and durability 500,000 times to ensure long-lasting flexibility and performance.
- Antitangle and Super Suction: Equipped with a 12000Pa flagship fan, M40 features strong suction that easily picks up debris, including tangled hair. Main brush and side brush are designed with real-time anti-entanglement technology in that it cuts the hair to avoid the clogging of the brushes, keeping them clean and ensuring cleaning efficiency.
- Advanced Self-Cleaning and Drying System: The Robot boasts a high-performance self-cleaning base: With 70°C high-temperature mop washing and 2-hr hot air drying, it removes the need for manual cleaning.
- Dual-duct automatic dust collection, antibacterial dust bags offer hygiene and convenience for users: they can just throw away the dust bags once every 75 days.
- Smart Navigation and Obstacle Avoidance: It integrates the Mijia M40 S-Cross wide-area structured light obstacle avoidance system, LDS panoramic laser navigation, and 360° whole-house scanning. Advanced technologies support intelligent navigation for the robot in homes while performing obstacle avoidance.
It can surmount obstacles of up to 20 mm in height and supports remote control via the Mijia App and Xiaoai voice control.
The Mijia Sweeping and Mopping Robot M40 is expected to raise the ante in home cleaning with its powerful features and smart capabilities, adding more convenience to its use.
