Xiaomi Launches Compact Watch Type-C Charging Dock

Xiaomi has officially released the Xiaomi Watch Type-C Charging Dock, a specialized accessory designed to simplify the charging process for users on the move. This product was developed following direct feedback from the Xiaomi community, where users expressed a desire for a more portable solution that eliminates the need for extra cables.

The new dock is currently available in the Chinese market for $5.40 (39 Yuan), offering a streamlined experience for global travelers who prioritize efficiency and space-saving designs.

Compact design and smart features

Xiaomi prioritized portability and safety when designing this charging accessory. By integrating a standard interface, the company ensures that users can utilize their existing infrastructure without purchasing additional proprietary equipment.

  • Universal Type-C Interface: The dock features a standard Type-C port, allowing it to share the same charging cable used for your smartphone or Xiaomi Pad 8. This reduces clutter in your travel bag significantly.

  • Magnetic Adhesion: A built-in magnetic design allows the watch to automatically snap into the correct position. This ensures a secure connection with the charging pins every time you place the device on the dock.

  • Intelligent Chip Control: The internal protocols are complemented by a dedicated current management chip. This technology provides stable power delivery and prevents overheating during the charging cycle.

  • Comprehensive Safety Protections: To ensure long-term battery health, the dock includes overvoltage, overcurrent, and undervoltage protection. These safeguards protect the wearable from electrical fluctuations in various environments.

  • Lightweight Portability: The device is extremely compact and lightweight, making it an ideal companion for those who frequently move between the office, home, and international destinations.
