With this new update, users now have greater control over their gallery layout, and it is more customizable and streamlined. What’s New in HyperOS 2.1 Gallery Update?
In the 4.2.012 Gallery update, Xiaomi has enhanced the user experience by allowing category management customization. Up until now, categories such as:
- People
- Albums
- Journeys
- Memories
- Creativity
- More
could only be rearranged. Users can now disable categories they don’t require, so that the gallery app is less cluttered and more personalized to their use.
How to Use the New Feature?
Activating this new feature is easy. Simply do the following:
- Open the Xiaomi Gallery app.
- Navigate to the Categories area.
- Scroll down and Customize button.
- You will now see a toggle to enable or disable categories.
- Select the categories you want to keep and disable the rest.
This flexibility enables users to organize their gallery more efficiently, removing unwanted sections that might not be useful to them.
