Heavy battery drain on Xiaomi 11T Pro 5G. Battery just drops 30% so quickly. It’s a real pain when traveling and taking photos or videos. Really frustrating. Haven’t received the new update either for this phone.

After updating HyperOS 2.0.2.0 on my Redmi 13 mobile the battery is draining fast. My redmi 13 mobile is having battery draining issues. It is difficult to use the mobile due to fast draining of the battery. The problem is very annoying. I’ve just moved from a Huawei Mate 20 Pro (which I have had for 5 years) to a Xiaomi 14.
Huawei Mate 20 Pro never had battery issues, where I would panic for a charger. The charge would not drain overnight and I could recharge at my leisure.
Xiaomi 14, using the same apps, I have to continually keep my eye on the power level. If I’m travelling I start to suffer from range anxiety. It goes without saying that I have to always have my charger (just in case) and I’m thinking of where I can plug in.
The phone is great but currently the battery is definitely its weak spot. Let’s hope Xiaomi can fix the issue because the phone’s battery performance is currently not right. Could be a real show stopper for many purchasers.

I update hyper os v2. I thikn battery darin quickly before the previous version. Besides calling problem can’t detect country code. I call a phone number form my contact list but is say wrong number.
I strongly feel MIUI 13 or 14 much better than hyper os.

On 14 Ultra it’s so bad that i was forced to turn ultra battery saver to literally save my battery. After the update i had to recharge 3-4 times a day which led to my battery health going 1% down in no time… Combined with the inability to unlock the bootloader because every day the quota limit is reached (i check at the correct time), i now have an expensive dumb phone :/ After writing a similar comment in a thread on mi.com, the whole thread got deleted. I’ve been with the brand for more than 8 years, but i seriously doubt that i’ll be buying a phone from them again, given the policies they choose to pursue.
