Xiaomi fixes 9 major bugs in November HyperOS Beta update

According to an official update shared on the Xiaomi Community, the latest HyperOS Beta version introduces a series of optimizations aimed at improving system stability and visual consistency. Among the most notable improvements is the resolution of an issue where the clipboard failed to close automatically after copying content, a problem previously reported by users. This optimization is now active in the latest Beta build and will be verified in subsequent releases.

Additional Fixes and Known Issues

The update does not only address clipboard behavior but also targets several ongoing interface problems reported by Beta users. Xiaomi engineers have acknowledged and are working on the following issues within the current Beta phase:

  • White bar malfunction: The white navigation bar at the bottom of the desktop may not function properly in certain use cases.
  • Status bar color anomalies: Incorrect color inversion occurs when light or white wallpapers are used on the desktop.
  • Clock disappearance: After unlocking the device, the top-left clock on the status bar occasionally vanishes, accompanied by control center malfunction.
  • Global search errors: Searching for installed applications sometimes fails under specific conditions.
  • Face unlock failure: In rare instances, face unlock does not activate on the lock screen.
  • Recent apps preview issues: Application names and icons may not appear correctly in the recent tasks view.
  • Free-form window scaling bugs: Some games displayed in free-form window mode experience unbalanced proportions when resized.
  • Animation distortion: Opening and closing app animations can stretch or distort in some scenarios.
  • Desktop icon ghosting: Returning to the home screen may momentarily display the icon of a previously opened application.

A Continuous Effort Toward System Perfection

Xiaomi continues to fine-tune HyperOS, also known as the evolution of its proprietary Surge OS framework, ensuring the platform delivers smoother animations, enhanced responsiveness, and greater reliability across devices. The Beta testing phase remains essential in refining the software before its stable release.

Users can expect further incremental updates in the coming weeks as Xiaomi’s internal development teams push toward an even more refined experience under the HyperOS ecosystem, integrating AI-driven optimization and better system resource management.
