The image shows Wang Xiaoyan, VP of Xiaomi Group, President of China- holding an unreleased smartphone. The phone itself was clad in a case, but the bigger lens module was still easily discernible- and rather bold in its new design.
Contrary to the existing Xiaomi devices with a flash integrated into the camera module, this may raise some speculations that this could be a sneak peek at the highly anticipated Xiaomi 15 series.
Also, could this be the Xiaomi 15 Series?
Consequently, the timing of the leak couldn’t be better since there were many rumors going around related to the Xiaomi 15 series. Earlier, Smartprix published renders of the Xiaomi 15 Pro with a very similar rear design language; it had the flash outside of the camera module, like this photo. Some say this coincidence suggests that Xiaomi executives might have inadvertently revealed the Xiaomi 15 or Xiaomi 15 Pro.
Xiaomi 15 Pro: What We Know So Far

With a large 6000mAh battery, the Xiaomi 15 Pro will support 90W wired charging, 80W wireless charging, and 10W reverse wireless charging. Meanwhile, the Pro Titanium Edition is also said to allow wireless satellite connectivity for communications when cellular is not available.
Anticipated Launch
The Xiaomi series 15, meanwhile, is tipped for an official launch in China this coming October, with an early release expected in 2025 globally. Therefore, the sighting of the mysterious device carried by Wang Xiaoyan notches up hyping of this new flagship series.
