Poco F5 and F5 pro released at the same time, but F5 won’t get the android 16 update. For a $400 phone, it is not OK to only get 2 major android upgrades. It means if I spend $200 less, I would get the same treatment as $400.
I’ll switch back to custom ROMs for sure.
And for the next phone, I’ll get a mid-range Samsung which will give 6 or 7 major android upgrades.

I thought that by buying a new Redmi 13 (Tides) I would be assured of mayor OS updates, not getting HyperOS2 and Android 15 would be very disappointing, and surely influencing which brand I will be buying next.

never again a phone of this brand, 200000 smartphones you don’t understand anything…I with the note 13 pro 5g I’m stuck on 14 and these talk about 16…never seen a total confusion….luckily I paid the 512 giga 200 euros with Wind but never again….a delirium better OPPO less products and followed better, it is useless to make 20000 models and then mess and not follow them ..to much is to them just sell….even the prices start with a figure as soon as they come out and then halve after a few months….without value

once you upgrade, you cannot downgrade to an earlier version, so decide before upgrading your device.. if there is any bugs in Android 15 as it’s quite new, you will have no options left…
