Xiaomi annonuced official HyperOS 2 global rollout schedule

Xiaomi officially announced the entire lineup of devices that are likely to be receiving the highly anticipated HyperOS 2.0 update for Global and Indian markets. The roll-out schedule stretches up to June 2025, giving Xiaomi, Redmi, and POCO customers proper clarity about when they should be expecting the new operating system for the devices. The entire roadmap reaffirms Xiaomi’s commitment of bringing extensive support for devices of varying price ranges with the company’s newest software experience.

Pre-installed phones

According to the official release, HyperOS 2.0 comes pre-installed with six of Xiaomi’s newest flagships including the Xiaomi 15 series and the new Pad 7 series. The update for people with the device already installed will be rolled out in phases with the newest flagships and the premium phones receiving priority in the roll-out schedule that runs up to March 2025.

The middle-range phones and the old flagships are the next recipients of the update in the subsequent phase up to May 2025 while the newest Redmi Note 14 series and the newly-launched bzudget phones are the recipients of the update by June 2025.

Pre-installed devices include the company’s new flagships Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Ultra and the new tablet devices Xiaomi Pad 7 and Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro. Xiaomi wearables are included with the Xiaomi Watch S4 and the Redmi Watch 5 with HyperOS 2.0 pre-installed.

March 2025 Rollout

One of the March 2025 rollout phases covers the more recent premium devices including the innovative Xiaomi MIX FLIP, the Xiaomi 14 series (the 14Ts included), and the Xiaomi 13T Pro of the past year. The Redmi Note 13 series and several of the POCO phones including the F6 Pro, the X6 Pro, and the M6 Pro are included within this phase.

But these devices already got HyperOS 2 update.

May 2025 Rollout

The largest refresh phase up to May 2025 affects devices of several different generations that are widespread in nature. These include the more mature flagships such as the Xiaomi 13 lineup, Xiaomi 12 lineup, and the Mi 11 Ultra. The middle-range phones such as the Redmi 12 and the Redmi 13 lineup are included, with several POCO devices belonging to the F5, the F4 lineup, and the X5 lineup.

The tablet offerings are well-covered with the Xiaomi Pad 6 receiving the refreshment treatment, several models of the Redmi Pad receiving the treatment, and the POCO Pad receiving the treatment.

Except Xiaomi 12 series (except Xiaomi 12 Lite), Xiaomi 11 series, Redmi 12 series, Redmi 13 series, POCO X5 series, all other series received HyperOS 2 update.

The final phase until June 2025 includes the newest Redmi Note 14 lineup that ironically happens to be amongst the last that are going to be updated despite being recent launches. Budget phones such as the Redmi A3 Pro and the Redmi 14C are included within this phase too.

The extensive lineup demonstrates Xiaomi’s commitment to providing software support for the entirety of their lineup that stretches from the high-end flagships to the more affordable devices, tablets, and wearables. HyperOS 2.0 represents a huge leap for Xiaomi’s software experience with plenty of improvements for performance, security, and user interface design.
