Xiaomi has formally identified three significant software bugs impacting HyperOS on several of its flagship and mid-range devices. The company has acknowledged these issues in a show of transparency, emphasizing its ongoing commitment to system stability and customer satisfaction. Affected models include the Xiaomi 12T, POCO X6 Pro 5G, and Redmi A3/A5. Xiaomi’s engineering teams are currently prioritizing detailed analysis and prompt resolution.
Display Malfunction on Xiaomi 12T
A critical black screen issue has emerged for users of the Xiaomi 12T running HyperOS versions OS2.0.5.0.VLQIDXM and OS2.0.7.0.VLQMIXM. This malfunction results in the device becoming unresponsive, prompting Xiaomi to temporarily suspend the rollout of these specific firmware builds. The technical team is actively investigating the root cause to restore normal device operation as quickly as possible.
Touchscreen Responsiveness Problem on POCO X6 Pro 5G
POCO X6 Pro 5G users have reported widespread issues with touchscreen reliability, commonly referred to as “ghost screen” behavior. This disrupts everyday device usability, with unintended touches degrading the user experience. The affected version is OS2.0.102.0.VNLIDXM. Xiaomi’s engineers are analyzing user-submitted logs to accelerate troubleshooting and the eventual deployment of a fix.
Stability and Recovery Mode Concern for Redmi A3/A5
Devices in the Redmi A3 and A5 series are experiencing unexpected reboots that automatically trigger recovery mode, interrupting regular usage. These issues have been observed with firmware versions OS1.0.4.0.VGRMIXM and OS1.0.6.0.VGRMIXM. Xiaomi has prioritized this matter and is actively seeking additional user feedback to expedite diagnosis and resolution.
Xiaomi strongly encourages all affected users to submit detailed feedback reports to support the debugging process. The company also recommends utilizing the MemeOS Enhancer app—available on the Play Store—for system updates and access to supplementary device management features.
