Singapore’s IMDA certification has officially listed the upcoming Xiaomi 17T and Xiaomi 17T Pro, signaling an imminent global launch. Notably, the Pro model will launch globally as the equivalent to China’s exclusive REDMI K90 Ultra. While they share about 90% of the same base platform, the global 17T Pro will feature a different codename and entirely omit the active processor cooling FAN found on the Chinese model.
Core Upgrades: Dimensity 9500 and Massive Battery
The new series focuses heavily on performance and endurance leaps over the previous 15T generation. The standard Xiaomi 17T is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8500, backed by a massive 6500mAh battery with 67W fast charging. Meanwhile, the 17T Pro steps up to the flagship-tier Dimensity 9500 chip. Both devices will continue to feature co-engineered Leica cameras.

Market Impact
The mid-flagship segment remains highly competitive. For reference, the predecessor Xiaomi 15T series launched at €649 (approximately $705 USD). With the leap to the Dimensity 9500 and much larger battery capacities, Xiaomi is expected to maintain this aggressive $700-tier pricing globally to undercut competitors.
