Xiaomi 17T Pro may debut with the Xiaomi’s first 165Hz OLED display

Based on Chinese media reports, OnePlus is set to introduce the first 165Hz OLED screen smartphone in the world, which is rumored to be launched with the new OnePlus 15. This BOE-made screen will draw the new standard in mobile monitor tech with the extremely high refresh rate and superior eye care technologies. The revolutionary move may soon affect Xiaomi’s future generation flagship devices, such as the Xiaomi 17T Pro and REDMI K80 Ultra, in its incessant upgrade in terms of user experience and monitor performance.

165Hz OLED: The Next Generation in Display Technology

The new 6.78-inch 1.5K OLED panel will be capable of dynamic refresh rate between 1Hz and 165Hz, providing both smooth motion and power saving. BOE’s latest manufacturing provides superior clearness in sight with balance between power saving and smoothness. The screen also has TÜV Smart Eye Protection 5.0 Gold Certification, which is meant to prevent eye strain in the course of long hours in watching — a much-needed feature among smartphone users nowadays.

Why Xiaomi May Catch Up

Being one such brand that adopts latest-edge tech at the quickest rate possible, Xiaomi is also planning to incorporate the same 165Hz OLED display tech in its Xiaomi 17T Pro and Redmi K80 Ultra. The both phones are expected to be meant for the performance-focused customers with flagship-grade visuals for gaming and multimedia. This development would see Xiaomi take the center position in the latest refresh-rate LCD tech such that it maintains its position among the strongest global smartphone players.

Through Xiaomi’s effective partnership network, especially with BOE, it won’t be unthinkable for the company to roll out this tech in its future flagships in the near future. The Xiaomi 17T Pro may then become among the pioneer devices in matching OnePlus in providing the 165Hz OLED experience to the masses.
