Emir BardakçıXiaomi has started internal testing of the Android 15-based HyperOS 3 update for Xiaomi 12, Xiaomi 12 Pro, and Xiaomi 12S Ultra devices. The stated internal beta builds, OS3.0.0.1.VLBCNXM, OS3.0.0.1.VLACNXM, and OS3.0.0.1.VLCCNXM, represent the first stage of internal bug fixes while the software is still in the pre-stable development phase. When the software reaches OS3.0.1.0, it will be prepared for public rollout as a stable beta version.
What to expect from HyperOS 3 on Xiaomi 12 series
HyperOS 3 comes as the next big software evolution offered by Xiaomi, with efficiency, smoother animations, and AI integration in mind. Even though other devices might receive an Android 16 update soon, the Xiaomi 12 series will receive one and only major software evolution with the Android 15 update in HyperOS 3.
Stable Release Schedule
So, according to Xiaomi’s internal roadmap, the HyperOS 3 stable beta build for the Xiaomi 12 series is expected soon after the achievement of the OS3.0.1.0 milestone. After the successful completion of the stable beta phase, the build will be rolled out first in China, withglobal variant support to follow.
