Whoever is in charge for their software development strategy needs to step back. They are ruining their reputation and scare away (loyal) global users from their brand. I used to be a Xiaomi fan since I bought the first roborock vacuum years ago. I got bunch of different devices and in general I’m really happy with them. But their mobile software development for the global market is a disgrace. It works for China from what I can tell but they seem so busy supporting them that pretty much every other region is falling short. I’m probably not going to buy anything that may require software updates because unfortunately they can’t provide it.
