Vivo is preparing to expand its flagship lineup with the upcoming X300 series, and new details about the Vivo X300s have started to surface. While the company has not officially confirmed the launch date of the Vivo X300 Ultra, leaks suggest the device could arrive later this month.
Reports indicate that the Vivo X300s will debut alongside the Ultra model. So far, most of the official teasers have focused on the Ultra variant, but new information is now revealing what Vivo calls the “SuperMax” model.
7100mAh Blue Ocean battery confirmed
According to Han Boxiao, product manager at Vivo Communication Technology Co., Ltd., the Vivo X300s will pack a massive 7100mAh Blue Ocean battery.
The battery uses fourth-generation silicon anode technology, allowing Vivo to increase the capacity without significantly increasing the phone’s size. This makes it the largest battery ever featured in the X series.
For comparison, the previous Vivo X200s launched with a 6200mAh battery, meaning the new model brings roughly a 15% increase in capacity. Vivo has yet to confirm the charging speed, but the predecessor supported 90W wired charging, so the upcoming device may offer a similar or improved charging solution.
Upgraded cooling system for better thermal control
To handle the larger battery and powerful hardware, Vivo has equipped the Vivo X300s with a large-scale Ice Pulse Fluid VC cooling system.
The new cooling solution features a larger vapor chamber heat dissipation plate compared to previous generations. This should help keep temperatures under control during demanding tasks such as gaming, video recording, and extended multitasking.
Faster fingerprint unlock and improved connectivity
The smartphone will also introduce Ultrasonic Fingerprint 2.0, designed to unlock the device instantly even with wet or oily fingers. Vivo claims the technology delivers about a 15% faster unlock speed compared to the previous generation.
Connectivity and data transfer are also getting a boost. The Vivo X300s will include USB 3.2 Gen1, allowing transfer speeds of up to 5Gbps, which is nearly 10 times faster than the X200s.
New power management features
Vivo is also bringing several software-level power optimizations to the device. One of them is Global Direct Drive Power Supply 2.0, which expands beyond gaming and can now be used during everyday activities such as watching videos, browsing, and reading news.
Another feature called MicroPower Genie 2.0 helps protect ongoing tasks during power interruptions. It can restore the task interface immediately after power returns, while automatically saving game progress, notes, and photo editing records.
Display and camera specifications
The Vivo X300s will feature a 6.78-inch flat display with 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate, using a BOE Q10+ panel for improved brightness and color accuracy.
On the back, the device will include a circular camera module housing three 50MP sensors: a 50MP primary camera, 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP periscope telephoto camera. The front camera is also expected to feature a 50MP sensor for high-resolution selfies and video calls.
More details about the Vivo X300s and the Vivo X300 Ultra should emerge as the launch date approaches. Meanwhile, you can read more specifications of the X300s here, already confirmed by the company.
