Most of the spotlight at Mobile World Congress 2026 in Barcelona has been focused on Vivo’s upcoming camera flagship, the Vivo X300 Ultra. The company has already revealed several camera-related features of that device, although its full design remains hidden.
However, another smartphone from the same lineup appears to have quietly made an appearance at the event. The Vivo X300 Max was reportedly spotted at the exhibition floor, giving us an early look at both its design and some of its expected specifications.
Vivo X300 Max design spotted at MWC 2026
Although Vivo has not officially introduced the device, photos from the event show the Vivo X300 Max displayed in a protective case. Despite the case covering most of the body, the design and camera layout are still visible.
The phone appears to follow the same design language as the Vivo X300 and Vivo X300 Pro. The main difference seems to be in the rear camera arrangement.
The camera module features two lenses positioned on either side of the ZEISS T branding, while a third lens sits above them. This layout suggests that the device will continue Vivo’s strong focus on camera performance.
Reports also suggest that the handset seen at the event is the same device previously teased by Vivo executive Han Boxiao, further supporting the idea that the device is indeed part of the upcoming X300 series.
Possible MediaTek Dimensity 9500 processor
The device was showcased near an information board referencing an upcoming MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset. The board simply described the phone as an existing member of the X300 series.
Tech insider Roland Quandt reportedly connected the clues and pointed to a device labeled V258A, which may be related to the previously rumored V2548A model.
Interestingly, the same model number had earlier appeared on 3C Certification, confirming 90W wired charging support for the device.
Expected display and battery
Rumors suggest the Vivo X300 Max could feature a 6.78-inch LTPO OLED display with a 1440p resolution. The screen appears to have symmetrical bezels and a centered punch-hole cutout for the front-facing camera.
While the bezels look even on all sides, they appear slightly thicker compared to some competing flagship phones.
Battery life could be another major highlight. Reports indicate that the phone may pack a massive 7000mAh battery, which would place it among the largest batteries in a flagship smartphone.
With 90W fast charging already confirmed through certification, the device could potentially charge from empty to full in under an hour.
Possible launch alongside Vivo X300 Ultra
Even though Vivo has not officially confirmed the Vivo X300 Max, its appearance at Mobile World Congress 2026 strongly suggests the device is nearing launch.
If the rumors are accurate, the smartphone may debut alongside the Vivo X300 Ultra, completing the flagship lineup in the coming months. More official details about the phone’s hardware, cameras, and release timeline are expected to surface soon.
