Vivo T5x launched in India with Dimensity 7400 Turbo and massive 7,200mAh battery

Vivo has officially unveiled the Vivo T5x 5G in India, confirming weeks of teasers and leaks. The new mid-range smartphone focuses heavily on performance and battery endurance, while still maintaining an aggressive starting price below ₹20,000.

The device will go on sale starting March 24, 2026, via Flipkart and Vivo’s official online and offline retail channels across the country.

Large display with smooth 120Hz refresh rate

The Vivo T5x features a 6.72-inch Full HD+ LCD display that supports a 120Hz refresh rate, ensuring smoother scrolling and improved gaming responsiveness. The panel also reaches a peak brightness of 1,250 nits, making it usable even under bright outdoor conditions.

Dimensity 7400 Turbo powers performance

At the core of the Vivo T5x is the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Turbo chipset, designed to deliver stable performance for everyday tasks and gaming. The phone is equipped with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage, offering fast app loading speeds and efficient multitasking.

Built tough with IP68/IP69 rating

Vivo is positioning the T5x as a durable device. It comes with military-grade shock resistance and has passed multiple environmental durability tests. Additionally, the phone carries IP68 and IP69 ratings, providing strong protection against dust and water.

Massive 7,200mAh battery with reverse charging

One of the standout features of the Vivo T5x is its huge 7,200mAh BlueVolt battery, aimed at users who prioritize long-lasting usage. The device supports 44W wired fast charging and also includes reverse charging capability, allowing it to power other devices when needed.

Camera setup with 4K video support

For photography, the Vivo T5x comes with a dual rear camera setup consisting of a 50MP primary sensor and a 2MP secondary lens. While it lacks optical image stabilization (OIS), it includes electronic image stabilization (EIS) and supports 4K video recording at 30fps.

On the front, the smartphone houses a 32MP selfie camera that also supports 4K video recording, making it suitable for content creators and video calls.

Software and availability

The Vivo T5x runs on Android 16-based OriginOS 6 out of the box, bringing the latest software features and optimizations.

In terms of pricing, the base 6GB + 128GB variant starts at ₹18,999, while the 8GB + 128GB version is priced at ₹20,999. The top-end 8GB + 256GB model costs ₹22,999. Buyers can choose between Cyber Green and Star Silver color options.
