Adimorah JudeVivo is preparing for a busy launch period in March. While the company is expected to introduce flagship models like the Vivo X300 Ultra and Vivo X300s in the coming weeks, it also has several mid-range devices in the pipeline.
One of them is the Vivo T5x 5G, which has been appearing in leaks recently. The company has now officially confirmed that the smartphone will debut in India on March 17.
Launch timing coincides with other major smartphone announcements
March is shaping up to be a busy month for smartphone launches. The same day will also see the debut of the foldable OPPO Find N6, which is expected to be announced for both the Chinese and global markets.
While the Find N6 may reach India later, the Vivo T5x 5G will go on sale in India shortly after its announcement, targeting buyers looking for an affordable 5G smartphone.
Availability and pricing details
After the official unveiling, the Vivo T5x 5G will be available for purchase through Vivo’s official website, offline retail stores, and the popular e-commerce platform Flipkart.
The company has confirmed that the smartphone will be priced under ₹23,000. According to recent reports, the base variant could start at around ₹16,999, making it a competitive option in the mid-range segment.
Design and color options revealed
Recent teasers have also revealed the design of the upcoming smartphone. The Vivo T5x 5G features a simple design with rounded edges and a square-shaped camera island on the rear.
The camera module houses two camera sensors along with an LED flash, while the front of the device includes a Dynamic Island-style display cutout.
Vivo has also confirmed that the device will come with IP68 and IP69+ ratings, offering protection against dust and water.
The smartphone will be available in two color options: Green and White.
MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Turbo expected
Under the hood, the Vivo T5x 5G is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Turbo chipset, which should deliver improved performance and better power efficiency for everyday tasks and gaming.
More details about the phone’s display, camera capabilities, and battery capacity are expected to be revealed during the official launch event on March 17.
