Vivo T5x 5G teaser video drops as launch approaches

Vivo has officially started teasing the Vivo T5x 5G, signaling that the device’s launch is getting closer. The company previously confirmed that it would begin revealing details about the smartphone starting March 10, and the first teaser video has now been released.

The short teaser offers an early glimpse of the upcoming mid-range smartphone but stops short of revealing its key specifications.

First look at the Vivo T5x design

Although the teaser video focuses mostly on building anticipation, it does reveal a brief look at the design of the Vivo T5x 5G. From the footage, the phone appears to feature a dual-camera setup on the rear alongside an LED flash. We could see the power button and the volume buttons at the top right side of the device.

The overall design suggests a clean and minimal camera module, which is typical of many mid-range smartphones launching this year. However, Vivo has not yet confirmed the camera specifications or sensor details.

Meanwhile, leaks have already hinted at some of the features of the Vivo T5x 5G. According to rumors, the company is positioning the device as a powerhouse, reportedly scoring over 1 million points on the AnTuTu benchmark test. It is also expected to arrive with a beefy battery, large enough to charge your wearables.

Dimensity 7400 Turbo chipset rumored

Although Vivo has not officially confirmed the processor yet, leaks suggest the device may feature the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Turbo chipset. If true, the phone could deliver strong performance in its price category. According to early reports, the device reportedly scored over 1 million points on the AnTuTu Benchmark test, which indicates a significant performance upgrade compared to its predecessor.

Massive battery expected on the Vivo T5x

Another highlight rumored for the Vivo T5x is a 7200mAh battery, which could make it one of the largest batteries in its class. The phone is also expected to support 44W fast charging. Wireless charging is unlikely in this segment, but the device may include reverse charging, allowing it to power other devices when needed.

If these specifications are confirmed, the T5x could be one of the more battery-focused mid-range phones launching this year.

Possible price increase compared to the previous model

There are also indications that the new model could be slightly more expensive than its predecessor, the Vivo T4x. Vivo’s promotional material describes the phone as the fastest phone under ₹23,000 as of March 5, 2026.” This suggests the device will target the competitive sub-₹25,000 price segment.

For comparison, the T4x previously launched with a starting price of ₹13,999, while early reports suggest the Vivo T5x 5G could start around ₹16,999 for the 6GB + 128GB model. Despite the potential price increase, Vivo may still offer launch discounts or pre-order deals once the device becomes available.

More details expected before the launch

Vivo has already started teasing the upcoming phone, and more details about the Vivo T5x 5G are expected to surface in the coming days. The company is likely to confirm key specifications, pricing, and availability ahead of the official unveiling. If the early rumors hold true, the device could become one of the most competitive mid-range smartphones in India this year.
