Stop Xiaomi HyperOS pop-ups forever with this simple trick

Dealing with persistent pop-up ads on your Xiaomi HyperOS device isn’t just annoying—it disrupts productivity and can undermine your team’s workflow. If you’re managing company devices or simply want a streamlined user experience, it’s time to take action. Here’s how to ensure your devices stay focused on business, not distractions.

For additional optimization, you may consider the MemeOS Enhancer app from the Play Store, which offers further system management capabilities.

1. Adjusting System Settings

Start by leveraging built-in system controls. Xiaomi’s HyperOS does provide options (though not always obvious) for reducing ad intrusions.

Follow these steps:

The first step on the journey of ad reduction is the HyperOS System Ads, which often have been cited as the biggest reasons for ads in the system.

  1. Open Settings
  2. Enter Fingerprints, face data, and screen lock.
  3. Enter Authorization & Revocation:
  4. Search for the Authorization & revocation option and tap on it.
  5. Find “MSA” and “MiuiDeamon”.
  6. Turn it off.

Now, Let’s prevent Xiaomi from collecting data for personalised advertising recommendations.

  1. Open Settings
  2. Enter Passwords & Security:
  3. Enter Fingerprints, face data, and screen lock.
  4. Enter Privacy
  5. Find and select Advertising services.
  6. Disable “Personalized ad suggestions”

Now turn off the “disable ads” option, which is not available on every device.

  • Open Settings
  • Enter Mi Account menu
  • Enter About Xiaomi Account
  • Turn off “Ads in System Apps”

These steps will reduce the majority of ad interruptions during regular business use.

2. Advanced Removal Using ADB

For IT admins or advanced users, Android Debug Bridge (ADB) allows for the removal of ad-related system applications entirely. This method is highly effective for company-managed devices or users who require a distraction-free environment.

Required ADB Commands:

Connect your Xiaomi device to a computer and enter these commands via the terminal:

pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.miui.analytics
pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.miui.daemon
pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.miui.msa.global
pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.miui.android.fashiongallery
pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.xiaomi.payment
pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.micredit.in
pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.mipay.wallet.in
pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.xiaomi.mipicks
pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.mi.globalbrowser
pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.google.android.videos
pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.google.android.apps.tachyon
pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.google.android.apps.subscriptions.red
pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.xiaomi.glgm

ADB Setup Steps:

You can follow our ADB installation and usage guide.

Caution is advised: improper use of ADB can affect device functionality.

Business Value

Once these changes are implemented, your Xiaomi devices will deliver a much cleaner interface. This not only improves employee focus but also supports data privacy by limiting third-party ad tracking. The MemeOS Enhancer app can further optimize system performance and streamline updates for enterprise environments.

For further reference, see the detailed guides on XiaomiTime and their ADB instructions.

Take these steps to ensure your company’s productivity isn’t compromised by unnecessary interruptions.
