Advanced Build and New-Generation Fingerprint Technology
Unlike its predecessor, the Redmi Turbo 4, the upcoming Turbo 5 series will take a major step forward in design. The metal mid-frame gives the phone a more premium look and improved structural strength. The inclusion of an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor—a feature typically found on flagship models—marks a significant upgrade for Redmi’s Turbo lineup. Asked when it would be released, the source replied that the Turbo 5 will launch next month in China, though only one model has been confirmed to date. Following previous patterns, Xiaomi may have a standard and Pro model—similar to the Turbo 4 series. Redmi Turbo 5 will be out as POCO X8 Pro global markets.
As a point of reference, the Redmi Turbo 4 has a Dimensity 8400-Ultra on its base model and a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 on its Pro variant.
