I see no reason why the global edition can’t bear the same name. REDMI K90 Pro and POCO F8 Ultra sound like two entirely different devices. Name carries power, identity and prestige. If this device were under a different brand name, Xiaomi’s loyal fans worldwide would prefer to buy it under the Xiaomi brand. Why? The Xiaomi brand is now identified with feature richness and innovation. I suggest that the company should stop conflating (or “confusing”) the identities of the Xiaomi sub-brands, including REDMI and POCO. I would love to work with Xiaomi as a distributor/promoter.
