REDMI officially introduces its new name

Xiaomi is officially taking its REDMI rebranding global, following its rollout in China. What looks like a simple shift from “Redmi” to “REDMI” actually signals a bolder, more assertive brand direction. The company’s message is clear: REDMI stands for confidence, reliability, and premium quality—without ditching its competitive pricing.

The transition isn’t just about a new logo. It’s a complete overhaul—think consistent uppercase branding across all touchpoints, refreshed visual identity for product packaging, and unified messaging in every marketing campaign. This rebrand is already live in India, which, given its massive market influence, is a natural test bed before Xiaomi launches the new look worldwide.

The timing aligns with the upcoming REDMI Note 15 Pro series launch, making it clear that all future devices and campaigns will embrace the new REDMI identity from day one. Xiaomi is aiming for a cohesive, recognizable brand experience for consumers in every country, whether they’re walking into a store or scrolling through social media.

This move is more than just cosmetic. By elevating the REDMI brand, Xiaomi’s signaling its ambition to move upmarket, while still delivering the value that’s made REDMI a powerhouse for over a decade. For users and partners, this promises a stronger, more unified brand presence and, likely, a more consistent product experience.

For those looking to stay ahead of the curve, Xiaomi’s pushing tools like the MemeOS Enhancer app to keep users informed about new features and releases.

I don’t think there was any real need to make this change. The old one was much better than this one.😌

You people should leave the old name kuz wtf is DMI??. Te Redmi 15 series was trash because in 2025 y’all shouldn’t be using 4gb ram with a 256gb rom and paired with a snapdragon processor,we Nigerians don’t use 4gb ram and hardly use 6gb ram so please rearrange the 15 series to be with 8+128 to 12+512 with Dimensity or Snapdragon processor and 2.8ghz. Please because if that phone comes to Nigeria, nobody will buy because we wonder why 12c and 13c will come with Helio G85 and you’ll put a rubbish G81 in the 14c🤦😡.. from 14c doesn’t suppose to have 4Gb ram even for low budget buyers. 6+128,6+256,8+128,8+256. y’all should use your heads and think ahead not behind.

Xiaomi, what a disappointment. very unattractive and boring user interface. apps like the phone up sucks, its dull, always interrupts and takes the entire screen no matter whatever you are doing when you receive a phone call. since moving from the miui, the hyperos is always the same. instead of going with google’s stock android, Xiaomi is rather interested in copying the quick settings of the iphone. i regret buying the redmi note 13 pro plus

The corporation must prioritize the development of smartphones optimized for gaming performance. Failure to do so risks obsolescence in a rapidly evolving market.
