REDMI K80 Ultra leaks: 7000mAh Battery and Dimensity 9400+

A significant leak via renowned leaker Digital Chat Station has presented promising news of a new Redmi flagship rumored to be the K80 Ultra. The phone is rumored to pack a whopping 7000mAh battery capacity without sacrificing premium design elements such as a 1.5K four-sided straight ultra-narrow screen, metal body, and single-point ultrasonic, coupled with support for 100W quick charging.

The anticipated phone is going to be powered by MediaTek’s new processor, the Dimensity 9400+, a processor that is making a buzz in the marketplace. The leaked specifications point to the Dimensity 9400+ having a more powerful X925 super-core that is capable of up to 3.7GHz, a notable improvement over its earlier counterpart.

Industry insiders suggest that over one of the heavy hitters like OnePlus and Realme, alongside Redmi, is going to release devices based on the Dimensity 9400+ in mid-2024. The processor is going to be launched in March, two companies having been kept anonymous that are competing to release the first devices based on this processor.

The Dimensity 9400+ is founded on the design of the standard 9400, already remarkable in its all-large core design that featured a 3.626GHz Cortex-X925 super large core, three 3.3GHz Cortex-X4 large cores, and four 2.4GHz Cortex-A720 large cores. The Plus variant is set to push these specs even higher, possibly defining new standards in the mobile realm.

While the release date of Redmi K80 Ultra is yet to be confirmed, the coming together of its high battery capacity, advanced display technology, and high-tech processor means that it is set to be a force to be reckoned with in the flagship phone market.
