REDMI K80 Series gets first HyperOS 2.2 Beta

iaomi has officially begun seeding the HyperOS 2.2 beta on the freshly launched REDMI K80 and REDMI K80 Pro models. The update has rolled out initially in China and precedes the stable rollout planned to commence on May 12. The Redmi K80 gets version OS2.0.200.9.VOKCNXM and the K80 Pro to version OS2.0.200.12.VOMCNXM. Both are built on Android 15, as the rate at which the Chinese manufacturer is providing the most up-to-date system boosts on its flagship line seems to show no signs of slowing down.

Earlier, it was announced that HyperOS 2.2 stable would roll out to the Redmi K80 series on May 12, then to the K70 series on May 13, and to the Xiaomi 13 series on May 15. These beta rollouts imply the company is testing the waters to guarantee a smoother experience before a broader rollout. These beta versions are available to Chinese models alone and a global beta program has yet to be announced on these devices.

HyperOS 2.2: What to Expect

HyperOS 2.2 is a major update with Android 15 core integration, more fluid system animations, better privacy controls, and the revival of Unimportant Notifications. Beta testers have mentioned:
