REDMI 15C 4G specs leak reveals budget beast features

The Redmi 15C 4G is shaping up to be a strong contender in the budget smartphone market, according to the latest spec leak. Xiaomi appears committed to expanding its global reach, with certifications already in place for the EEA, Americas, and other major markets. A simultaneous international launch seems imminent.

Core Specifications

The Redmi 15C 4G will be powered by the MediaTek Helio G81 chipset—an impressive upgrade for this price segment. The 6.9-inch IPS LCD, boasting a 120Hz refresh rate and a modern waterdrop notch, is designed to provide users with a smooth viewing and gaming experience.

Battery life is a major selling point: a 6000mAh cell with 33W fast charging support. EU energy efficiency data suggests up to 77 hours of use per charge, with more than 80% battery capacity retained after 1,000 charging cycles. This represents strong value for users prioritizing longevity.

Camera & Design

A 50MP main camera headlines the rear setup, while the front camera offers a 13MP sensor for clear video calls and selfies. The device’s dimensions—173 x 81 x 8.2mm, 205g—strike a balance between a large battery and portability. Color options include Moonlight Blue, Twilight Orange, Midnight Black, and Green, appealing to a range of consumer preferences.

Storage & Availability

Two storage configurations will be available: 4GB RAM with either 128GB or 256GB internal storage. Xiaomi is set to release multiple variants to support distinct regional requirements, underlining its ambition for broad market penetration.

Pricing & Market Position

Pricing is competitive, with the 4GB/128GB model expected at €129 (~$140) and the 4GB/256GB variant at €149 (~$162). These figures position the Redmi 15C 4G as an attractive option for cost-conscious buyers seeking robust performance. The device aims to build on the momentum of the Redmi 14C 4G, which ranked among the top-selling smartphones globally in Q1 2025.

Software integration is also noteworthy: the device is set to run or quickly update to Android 16 HyperOS 2.3, ensuring users access to the latest features and security enhancements.

In summary, the Redmi 15C 4G combines competitive hardware, appealing design choices, and aggressive pricing. Xiaomi’s strategy is clear: deliver high-value devices that meet the evolving needs of a global audience.

“Helio G81 […] impressive upgrade” – your article reads.
A straight up lie, since both 13C LTE and 14C LTE models used that exact chip albeit it was called G85 in 13C LTE and clocked slightly different.
Identical chips from 2020 (!??) with the the only difference there being the shuffled around GPU and CPU clocks, which gives G81 an IMPRESSIVE 1% lead over G85. (lol)
14C LTE uses G81, and we did see that small “improvement” over 13C LTE in benchmarks.
Please stop blindly praising companies, most of what they do is anti-consumer and not beneficial to the market either. The job of media is to help the consumer, not to help some incredibly rich companies sell their underwhelming products.
